Typical early evening dress from the 40s. The whole dress is in crepe except for a cutout at the bust, back and sleeves which are made of pink satin topped with lace. Two bands of this ornamentation make a reminder at the bottom of the dress. It closes at the back with small covered buttons along the back as well as small snaps on the left side.
